I'm Alexandra Vaughan, an award-winning baker and founder of The Crow’s Rest Bakehouse. My journey into baking began with a search for better alternatives to supermarket bread. This passion grew into a thriving microbakery, launched from my home kitchen in 2016.
At the heart of my baking is a deep commitment to community. I've built strong relationships with local producers and customers, ensuring that every loaf reflects the provenance and quality of carefully sourced ingredients. Over the years, I've baked thousands of loaves, connecting people through the shared experience of bread. In August 2024, I closed the bakery but continue teaching breadmaking, empowering others to bake with confidence in their own kitchens. |
